Hale Kona is a very private home of over 1,300 sq. ft. The home has 2 large bedrooms which can be either set up with twin beds or king beds.  Each room has a private bathroom. There is also a powder room in the hall with shower making 3 bath rooms in all.  The slightly larger room, Malia, has a full bath with cast iron soaker tub and shower, koa cabinets and a French door out into a private yard area with table, seating and a large sun umbrella for quiet undisturbed reading.  $108. + tax.  The Makua Room (Grandfather's) includes a King Bed or two twin beds,  a double tile shower and A.C., The ambiance of the room is very masculine including nautical sailing ship wall hangings and antique furnishings.  $98. + tax

The home has a dining room for 8 with a large 16'x26' living room and a 10'x 26' lanai overlooking waterfalls, fish pond and bird feeding station. Hale Kona is very private and secluded yet only 3 miles from Kailua-Kona and the beaches. This spacious accommodation has an amply provided kitchen with Hawaiian Koa Cabinets, dishwasher, excellent top of the line gas range. Ideal for one or two couples or family of four. Includes a full buffet breakfast with Fresh baked bread, pastries, fresh island fruits, cereals, special omelet bar and milk, tea, coffee and juice.

Additional 10% discount for a weeks stay.  For daily maid service, please add 15%.  This home is wheel chair friendly with no steps at all, inside or out.   A 3 night minimum but with some exceptions.

Banyan Cottage is a romantic private cottage with a Cal-King bed and a couch futon that makes into queen bed. There is visual privacy between sleeping areas. The cottage has a very special bathroom with a large double shower and a double Jacuzzi all set in marble with stained glass bamboo windows. The cottage is furnished with lovely antiques going back to the Owner's family and the Thurston family missionaries of 1820. A large antique work desk makes this an ideal find for writers. The cottage is surrounded by two very large banyan trees. The west sunset side is elevated and give a special feeling of a very unique tree house. Comes equipped with a small kitchenette and a place on the west lanai to enjoy an old porch swing or broil a steak or two. The concrete parking is at the door on the east side of the cottage. A wonderful space for that special time or a honeymoon. Includes a first mornings ample stocking of our special Fresh Baked Bread, breakfast foods and Kona Coffee so that shopping may wait for another day.
